Nextstep offers practical help and advice on learning and work to adults aged 20 and over. It is a national service and is available through a network of local organisations such as training providers. Nextstep can provide free face-to-face advice sessions with an adviser for those adults who are yet to achieve their first level 2 qualification.

Train to Gain is a new service from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to help businesses get the training they need to succeed by offering skills advice and matching business needs with further education and training providers. Train to Gain Skills Brokers provide a free, independent and impartial assessment to identify what skills your business needs now and in the future. They can help you arrange training and provide information about possible sources of funding. If you are an employer, find out more about Train to Gain and Skills Brokers in your area by using the above contact details.
