There has emmerged a genuine need by some employers and employees alike for bite sized degree level modules that fulfill business development and staff development needs in an ever changing world of work.  In response to requests for a short well focussed learning opportunity for employees to develop the skills of Project Management, Somerset College are pleased to announce the launch of this new short course CPD Higher Education blended learning module which is validated by the University of Plymouth and created with the help of Workhigher funding.

The module is delivered in the workplace to employers/ees with the
support of a tutor on a roll on roll off basis and is designed for
anyone who is involved in Project Management at any level within their organisation. Completed within 4-6months this learning opportunity is a new and exciting development for people to gain higher education certification for their studies in project management work.

Get your teeth into learning!

Initial students numbers for the module have been good with the first cohort soon to finish. Students currently studying the module are involved in projects ranging from:  Raising Awareness in the Community on Nutrition and Diet, Evaluating Community Drug Services, a Review of HR Systems and Practice and Local Transport Planning.
